“Tings”of “Gree” on thine and thee.
I’ve resigned myself to the fact that my brain seems to be hard-wired to recognize puns in whatever I read and to a greater degree in what people say. My friends accuse me of going off on tangents every so often. This is part of the reason it seems that way. I cannot resist molding these happenstance phrasings into a pun. For me they stand out like a sore thumb. I think it all started the first time I heard George Carlin utter the words, “…park on the driveway, and drive on the parkway.” I consider George to be the “Grandmaster of Puns” and the world is a less humorous place without him. I can only hope to one day stumble upon a pun that is worthy of his legacy.
And so here we are. I’ve always thought about starting my own blog but never really had a foundation upon which to base it. Now I do! I invite you to accompany me on this journey I am about to embark on and hope to make just a few of you smirk and most of you groan along the way.
Cheers, ~Janusthorne.
